HOUSTON LIFE
Houston-area ceramists & artists team up to help fight hunger in their communities
This annual event has raised more than a million dollars for the Houston Food Bank – helping provide more than 3.35 million meals for the hungry over the years. Empty Bowls Houston happens Saturday, March 22, 2025 at the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. With a $25 donation, attendees can select a hand-crafted bowl to bring home and enjoy a simple lunch at the event. The event’s chair, Samantha Oldham - along with woodturners, Chuck Graham and Don Fluker, stopped by Houston Life to chat about Empty Bowl’s impact and what’s new this year.
