HOUSTON LIFE

Pumpkin lights take over a twelve acre lagoon in Houston!

Ok, it might not quite feel like it, and you are probably ordering your pumpkin spice lattes iced, but summer is officially over, and Lagoonfest is now a pumpkin patch...of sorts! That is right; their pumpkin lights have taken over. Think oversized illuminated jack-o'-lantern's featuring everything from dinosaurs and under-the-sea creatures to beloved characters from classic Halloween movies! It is fun for the entire family. Houston Life’s Melanie Camp went to check it out. Take a look in the video above. Pumpkin Lights is on until the last Sunday of October; they are open Thursday through Sundays. If you go during the weekend, you also get free access to Lagoonfest. Get your tickets at lagoonfesttexas.com or call 281-941-6001.
