This Houston-based compounding pharmacy produces weight loss meds like Semaglutide at a lower cost

You have probably heard of the popular weight loss drugs like Ozempic and Wegovy, in fact, they are so popular there have even been shortages. Empower Pharmacy is the largest compounding pharmacy in the world and has FDA approval to manufacture this group of drugs, like Semaglutide, called GLP-1's to help navigate the shortage. Houston Life’s Melanie Camp visited Empower Pharmacy at their facility in Houston to explore how they are doing it.
