Build a Gingerbread House with a Guinness World Record Holder

Yes. There is a Guinness World Record category where you might find a home for your Gingerbread House building skills. And, if your skills are not quite up to scratch, at The Houston Farmer Market you can learn how to build a gingerbread house with the man who is the Guinness World Record Holder for the “largest entirely edible gingerbread village.” His name is Jon Lovitch. Houston Life’s Melanie Camp met up with Jon at Gingerbread Lane at the Market to get some tips on building a solid gingerbread house. Gingerbread Lane is a free display baked and built by Jon. You can visit it and take Gingerbread House workshops at the Houston Farmers Market from now until January 14, 2024. Watch more in the video above.
