The moment Houston Chef Chris Shepherd announces new show, 'Eat Like A Local,' coming to KPRC 2 on 'Houston Life'

Houston chef Chris Shepherd stopped by Saigon Pagolac in Houston’s Asiatown where he announced his new show “Eat Like a Local” airing exclusively on KPRC 2 starting September 16 at 10 a.m. Jacklyn Pham, owner of Saigon Pagolac, joined Shepherd for the announcement. The pair also introduced some of the restaurant’s top Vietnamese dishes including a jellyfish salad, whole catfish and spring rolls that diners create themselves. Saigon Pagolac has been a part of the Houston community since 1989 and specializes in Seven Courses of Beef. Shepherd’s new show will introduce viewers to Houston’s diverse food culture and hidden gems in Houston’s food community like Saigon Pagolac. “Eat Like a Local with Chris Shepherd” kicks off Saturday, September 16 at 10 a.m. right after KPRC 2 News Saturday on KPRC 2, click2houston.com and streaming on KPRC 2+.
