Former foster child pays it forward as CASA volunteer with Child Advocates
KPRC 2 and our Community partners at Energy Transfer and Houston Christian University are featuring Texas CASA for Child Abuse Prevention Month. Child Advocates is the Harris County nonprofit under the Texas CASA umbrella. Child Advocates trains volunteers to serve as court-appointed special advocates (CASAs) for children in foster care who need the help of a trusted adult.
