Skaters, coaches and families are speaking out against the planned closure of Memorial City Ice Rink, saying it would disrupt training, overcrowd other rinks and tear apart a long-standing Houston community.

The Rink: Rolling at Discovery Green is open until April 13, offering outdoor roller skating for all ages in Houston. Enjoy sessions from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays and extended hours on weekends.
