Fleet Week is officially arriving along the Gulf Coast, with a parade of Navy and Coast Guard ships set to move through Galveston Bay and into the Houston Ship Channel.

After being postponed last year due to the government shutdown, Fleet Week is slated to come to Houston in April.

Fleet Week Houston scheduled to take place from Nov. 5-12 has been postponed to next year due to the ongoing government shutdown.

This year marks a special year for the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps as it celebrates 250 years of service to this nation.
