The only Texas players still not cleared to participate are right fielder Joey Gallo and left-hander Brett Martin, both of whom tested positive for coronavirus. Also, Indians outfielder Delino DeShields Jr., who tested positive for the COVID-19 virus, is traveling to Cleveland after he had one negative test. Rays rally past Astros 9-8 to avoid three-game sweep
HOUSTON - Ji-Man Choi put Tampa Bay ahead with a two-run double in the seventh, Travis d'Arnaud homered and drove in four, and the Rays beat the Houston Astros 9-8 Thursday to avoid a three-game sweep. Tommy Pham had an RBI single off Chris Devenski (2-3), and Choi brought in two more with a drive to center. Houston ended a seven-game winning streak, and the Rays snapped a season-high four-game road skid. D'Arnaud put Tampa Bay up 4-2 with a two-run homer in the fourth and added an RBI single in the sixth to tie it at 5. Houston again pulled within one run when Josh Reddick made it 8-7 with an RBI single in the seventh.
