Killer Mike to earn Change Maker Award at Billboard Awards
NEW YORK โ Grammy-winning rapper and social-political activist Killer Mike will receive the first Billboard Change Maker Award at the 2020 Billboard Music Awards. Atlanta-born Killer Mike first made waves in music with his appearance on Outkast's 2000 album, โStankonia." But Killer Mike has made noise outside of music, too. Last year he hosted Netflix's โTrigger Warning with Killer Mike," a 2019 documentary series about issues affected the Black community. The Billboard Change Maker Award will be presented by Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms at the African American Panoramic Experience Museum in Atlanta.

For their work on Watchmen, they scored a second Emmy nomination for outstanding music composition for a limited series, movie or special. They earned nominations as producers for outstanding documentary or nonfiction special and as writers for outstanding writing for a nonfiction program. Jazz saxophonist Kamasi Washington, who composed music for the Michelle Obama documentary Becoming, picked up a nomination for outstanding music composition for a documentary series of special.

Sia is protective of Maddie Ziegler. The singer opened up about her relationship with the 17-year-old dancer -- whom she's worked with for years after Ziegler starred in Sia's 2014 "Chandelier" music video -- claiming she stopped her from getting on a plane with Harvey Weinstein. The GRAMMY winner then claimed that she "kept her off a plane that Harvey Weinstein tried to get her on." Sia also noted that she feels "terrible shame" for throwing Maddie, a former Dance Moms star, into a bigger spotlight.
