A curfew was lifted for a few hours in Nepal’s capital allowing people to rush to buy groceries and supplies as confusion set on the Himalayan nation about the future after the collapse of the government.

Nepal has finished counting the votes that were cast in the Nov. 20 parliamentary elections.

Voters in Nepal lined up to elect members of Parliament in hopes that a new government would bring political stability and help with development of the Himalayan nation.

Nepalese authorities are searching for dozens of people missing in this week's heavy rains, floods and landslides, as survivors complain they are yet to receive any government help.

Floods and landslides triggered by days of torrential rains have killed at least 99 people in Nepal since Monday.
