The Fort Bend County Fair and Rodeo is celebrating its 90th anniversary with an opening-day parade at 9 a.m. Sept. 25 beginning near the Historic Courthouse in downtown Richmond.

Greater Houston is preparing for an especially festive Fourth of July in 2026, marking America’s 250th birthday with a variety of events across the region.

More than 100 decorated vehicles participated in Houston’s 39th Annual Art Car Parade’s Main Street Drag, bringing the festival experience to local schools, hospitals, and care facilities.
