The pandemic can’t stop Ziggy Marley from celebrating the Earth.

Nashville music club owners recall night the music died

In this March 3, 2020, file photo, a man walks by The Basement East, a live music venue, on March 3, 2020, after a tornado hit Nashville, Tenn. Could Basement East really be destroyed? As the virus raged on, the dream of once again packing Basement East full of music lovers seemed shakier than ever. Basement East first opened its doors in 2015, but it took nearly five years for the venue to turn a profit. “The magic of music,” Brown said.

Maggie Rogers stands up to heckler who told her to 'take her top off'

(CNN) - After being heckled on stage and told to "free the nips" at a Texas concert on Saturday, singer Maggie Rogers voiced her anger about the harassment and shared a message of strength. "I step on stage every night and give every part of me," the singer posted on Instagram on Sunday. Rogers rose to fame after showcasing her song "Alaska" to Pharrell Williams during a masterclass at New York University in 2016. On Saturday night, Rogers performed in Austin, Texas, at The Moody Theater for Austin City Limits Live. In videos from the concert, at first Rogers dismissed the comment but then a concertgoer yelled "free the nips."
