The NBA initially said last week that four Spurs players had tested positive for COVID-19, without identifying any by name.

The Cleveland Browns and Cavaliers have been permitted to have a limited number of fans at games during the pandemic. Meanwhile, Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms โ€” whose city was picked to play host to the NBA All-Star Game and skills competitions on March 7 โ€” raised major concerns about the notion of fans coming to the city for the events. Their games are halted because they were the last team to play the Spurs, losing to them on Sunday. AdThe NBA does not reveal which players tested positive, but its announcement of the latest postponements said the Spurs had positive tests among players โ€” and did not mention coaches. โ€œUnder normal circumstances, we would be extremely grateful for the opportunity to host the NBA All-Star game, but this is not a typical year," Bottoms said. โ€œI have shared my concerns related to public health and safety with the NBA and Atlanta Hawks.

Spurs keep playoff hopes alive with 123-105 win over Rockets

Keldon Johnson had 24 points and 11 rebounds, and San Antonio kept alive its chances of becoming the first team in NBA history to make 23 consecutive playoff appearances with a 123-105 victory over the Houston Rockets on Tuesday. San Antonio has won three straight and five out of seven since arriving in the Florida bubble. A total of seven Spurs reached double figures. San Antonio built a 19-point lead in the first half. WIN-WINRegardless of whether the Spurs make the playoffs, Popovich is proud of how his young players have stepped up in during their time in the bubble.
