Jaguars trying to become 1st to nail back-to-back top picks
Jacksonville Jaguars general manager Trent Baalke turned toward coach Doug Pederson, smiled widely and said, “I’m pretty confident this will be the last time that I’ll be making the first pick.” No team or general manager in the NFL’s modern era (since 1970) has drafted No. 1 in three straight years. Tampa Bay would have done it as a fledgling expansion franchise in 1976-78, but the Buccaneers traded the top pick in 1978 to Houston.news.yahoo.com

Five Middle Class AFC Teams That Have Shot Past the Houston Texans
The Texans used to be light years ahead of the Buffalo Bills, and now Josh Allen has led the charge right past the Texans. The common theme among these teams — the Bills, Raiders, and Dolphins — these were all AFC teams that were CLEARLY behind the Texans in the AFC pecking order before Bill O'Brien started to get his meathooks into the roster. First, prior to Sunday's loss to the Browns, the Texans had beaten ALL five of them the last time they met. Odds On Who Will Replace Bill O'Brien As Houston Texans Head Coach
Swinney would be a favorite of Texan fans if indeed he became the team's new head coach. It would also help if the new head coach didn't scream down fans while going into the locker room at halftime... McDaniels' first stint as a head coach, in Denver, was a disaster, but people learn. Deshaun Watson's MVP Odds Tell The Story On O'Brien's Offseason
Along those lines, there are a lot of ways to measure the offseason that a general manager just had. Conversely, after years and years, I got an email this morning saying I made it to the top of the Texans' season ticket wait list! One way I like to see which way the wind is blowing on these GMs is to look at the odds board for various things. So, with that said, here are the 2020 NFL MVP odds from Caesar's sports book in Vegas....NFL MVP Odds from Caesars ???? Add onto that Deshaun Watson's being 28/1 to win the MVP, a few notches down from Murray, and you'd have asked "What the hell year is it that we are talking about here?"houstonpress.com

The last time teams from Houston and Buffalo met in the playoffs it was in a game that is known as "The Comeback." But the play was reviewed and overturned, giving Buffalo the ball at the Houston 32.
