The New Year's Eve ball drop in New York City will sparkle in red, white, and blue to kick off celebrations for the U.S.'s 250th birthday in 2026.

The last of the crystal triangles that make up this year’s Times Square New Year’s Eve ball have been installed, marking the first time in 10 years that all 2,688 were replaced at once.

Volunteers add the special ingredient to every Houston Habitat for Humanity Home. That ingredient? Love. Jacob Starr says their Habitat Homes almost always pass inspection and he puts it down to all the love volunteers bring to every building site.
