Three Houston men have been charged with capital murder in the fatal shooting of a 20-year-old man at a West Houston apartment complex two years ago.

Houston PD Chief Noe Diaz says officers saw what appeared to be a drug deal taking place and when they tried to question the young men, they started running and shot at officers.

Detectives say two women and three children, ranging from ages 2 to 9-years-old were in the victim's car. Surveillance video also showed someone taking something from the victim after he was shot.
