The Fort Bend County Deputy Sheriff’s Association is hosting a BBQ fundraiser to support the family of Deputy Kenneth Lewis, who was killed in a hit-and-run while assisting a stranded motorist on the Katy Freeway.

Dennis Xavier Arguello-Acosta, 22, has been arrested and charged in connection with the hit-and-run death of off-duty Fort Bend County Deputy Kenneth Lewis, who was fatally struck while assisting stranded motorists on Interstate 10.

A morning procession for Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Kenneth Lewis is expected to cause traffic delays as it travels from the medical examiner’s office to a funeral home.
