Anderson blanked Miami into the sixth inning, Markakis made a nifty play in right field to help preserve the lead late, and the Braves threw another playoff shutout in a 2-0 victory Wednesday for a 2-0 lead in the NL Division Series. “It’s hard to bunch hits together, pitching is too good,” Braves manager Brian Snitker said. On a day when Atlanta got only four hits, Swanson and d’Arnaud provided the offense.

3 moments from ALCS Game 2 that happily remind us of the Astros 2017 run

Getty ImagesHOUSTON - Now that Astros playoff magic has been rekindled, we thought it'd be fun to look at three moments of Sunday night's game that carried echoes from key moments from the team's 2017 World Series run. It echoed an outstanding defensive play by Alex Bregman and Brian McCann during the 2017 playoff run. Correa walks off against the Yankees in Game 2 of the ALCS -- twice! Two years later, Correa one-upped himself with another walk-off hit to right-center in an ALCS Game 2 versus the Yankees, only this time, he put it over the fence. George Springer makes Adam Ottavino look like Brandon MorrowOK, the Correa walk-off seems like a default No.
