A TRUE INSPIRATION: George Ranch’s Clay Watson doesn’t let amputation stop him from being a multi-sport star

Clay Watson wasn't going to let anything stop him, including being born with a congenital amputation, as he excels in both tennis and soccer at George Ranch High School.

RICHMOND – It’s through sports that Clay Watson connects with his passion.

On the tennis court, Clay fine-tunes his stroke . His love for tennis began in 7th grade. On the soccer pitch, he’s also right in his element.

Clay is a sophomore at George Ranch High School and competes at a high level despite having use of only his right arm.

Born with a congenital amputation,  Clay hasn’t let that affect his love of sports.

KPRC 2 Sports Director Randy McIlvoy spent some time with Clay and his family and has the story in the video above.
