HOUSTON – The Houston Rockets will be featured on national TV in two NBA prime-time games this season.
The Rockets will travel to Golden State to take on the Warriors on Opening Night, October 17. The Warriors will receive their 2016-17 championship rings before the game, which tips-off at 9:30 p.m. CT.

Houston will also be on the road when they battle the Oklahoma City Thunder on Christmas Day. Tip-off is 7 p.m. CT. The game is one of five that will air on the holiday.
The Oct. 17 start is the earliest start to the season since 1980-81.
The complete season schedule will be announced next week.
