HOUSTON – The Texans were awarded defensive end Ali Gaye off waivers from the Tennessee Titans.
The Texans originally signed Gaye as an undrafted free agent out of LSU.

He has nine career tackles and one sack.
Gaye made the Titans roster in 2024. His first career sack was against the Texans during a road win. He finished his rookie year with eight tackles and one sack.
He was with the Titans’ practice squad last season.
The Texans’ original deal for Gaye (6-foot-6, 263 pounds) included $80,000 guaranteed with a $70,000 base salary guarantee and a $10,000 signing bonus.
Gaye had 36 tackles, six for losses, 2 1/2 sacks and two forced fumbles in his final season at LSU. He had 9 1/2 tackles for losses and one interception in 2020. Gaye was ejected from the Florida State game for targeting for a hit on quarterback Jordan Travis.
