SOCCER: College Park looking to make school history with first state title

The Cavaliers will play Summer Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday at Georgetown High School.

CONROE, Texas – After multiple years of making it to the third round of the UIL 6A Division II playoffs, the College Park Cavaliers are back in the state championship game for the first time since 2019.

This year’s team has 12 seniors on the roster who are eager to bring home the school’s first-ever state title.

“Just bringing a title home would be...it would be amazing, like, just a sense of fulfilment in all the hard work we’ve put in over the four years,” said senior Alex Harcourt.

“It’s not fully sinking in where we are a little bit, but I’m excited, but I’m very proud, very proud, and the school support and the administration support has been amazing and I couldn’t be more excited,” said Head Coach Mike Jaskowiak.

The Cavalier game against Summer Creek will start around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday at Georgetown High School.
