Texans’ injuries mounting: Dalton Schultz ruled out with calf injury

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The Texans’ offense is taking on more water.

Veteran starting tight end Dalton Schultz was ruled out with a calf injury suffered Sunday during an AFC divisional round playoff game against the New England Patriots.

Schultz exited the game after making the longest play for the Texans in the first half on a 42-yard catch and run and catching two passes overall on two targets for 47 yards.

Schultz led the Texans with 82 receptions for 777 yards and three touchdowns during the regular season.

Texans right tackle Trent Brown was ruled out before the game due to an ankle injury.

Tytus Howard shifted over to right tackle with Jarrett Patterson plugging in for him at left guard.

Howard injured his ankle and left the game briefly before being cleared to tough it out.

Then, rookie running back Woody Marks injured his shoulder and went back into the game.
