He was waived in March due to a failed physical. He signed with their practice squad in December and was released a week later. He was then signed by the Las Vegas Raiders to their practice squad.
At Pitt, he was a second-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference selection.
Before the injury in the NFL in a preseason game, Hill ran the 40-yard dash in 4.43 seconds.
The Texans released offensive lineman Jaylon Thomas to create a practice squad spot for Hill.
