HOUSTON – The Texans are signing veteran defensive lineman Leki Fotu to the practice squad, per a league source.
Fotu is a 6-foot-5, 317-pound former Arizona Cardinals fourth-round draft pick from Utah.

He has also played for the New York Jets and Las Vegas Raiders.
He has played in 64 games with 25 career starts, recording 100 tackles, 4 1/2 sacks, 15 tackles for losses and eight quarterback hits with one forced fumble.
A two-time first-team All-Pac-12 selection, Fotu has run the 40-yard dash in 5.15 seconds.
Fotu has played in six games this season for the Raiders.
Fotu has four starts this season and eight tackle with one sack and three tackles for losses.
