HOUSTON – The Texans are activating veteran tight end Harrison Bryant, per league sources.
Bryant was designated for return from injured reserve from neck and shoulder injuries.

The Texans later made this move official and waived running back Cody Schrader. Schrader was claimed off waivers this week and practiced the past three days.
They elevated running back Jawhar Jordan and safety K’Von Wallace from the practice squad.
Veteran running back Nick Chubb is questionable with a rib injury. The Texans have been shorthanded at safety for weeks with Jaylen Reed and M.J. Stewart on injured reserve. Myles Bryant is starting at safety.
Acquired in a trade from the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for wide receiver John Metchie II, Bryant has two catches for seven yards in eight games this season on six targets.
He’s a former Cleveland Browns fourth-round draft pick from Florida Atlantic. He has also played for the Las Vegas Raiders. He has 100 career receptions for 884 yards and 10 touchdowns.
