LOS ANGELES – The Texans worked out running backs Deuce Vaughn and Keilan Robinson and linebacker Power Echols, according to sources.
None of the free agents were immediately signed to contracts.

Vaughn, an elusive 5-foot-6, 173-pound former Dallas Cowboys sixth-round draft pick from Kansas State, is on multiple NFL teams’ emergency lists.
Vaughn was a consensus All-American and a former Big 12 Offensive Freshman of the Year who has rushed for 110 career yards with 10 catches for 58 yards for the Cowboys. He rushed for 3,604 yards and 34 touchdowns in college with 114 catches for 1,250 yards and nine scores. He has also returned punts.
Robinson, a former standout at Texas and St. John’s High School, is another return specialist. He played at Alabama before transferring to the Longhorns.
Robinson is a former Jacksonville Jaguars fifth-round draft pick. He returned two kickoffs for 34 yards as a rookie. He was recently released by the Philadelphia Eagles. Like Vaughn, he is a compact runner at 5-foot-8, 191 pounds.
Echols played collegiately at North Carolina. He went undrafted and signed with the Chicago Bears. He was recently released from their practice squad.
