When Bart Scott was playing linebacker in the NFL, he was one of the top defensive players in the game.

He combined speed, intensity, tackling, an outspoken style in interviews and was a Pro Bowl selection.

Now, Scott is applying those qualities as a mentor to players after joining National Sports Agency as vice president of athlete relations.

He joins veteran agent Harold Lewis along with Christian Addison, vice president of football, Aaron Brynildson, vice president of football operations, and Carson Powell as director of NIL and new marketing executives in Jack Bishop and Sophia Reynolds.

With 11 seasons in the league, Pro Bowl honors, and a reputation as one of the game’s most respected voices, Scott brings instant credibility and connection to NSA’s locker rooms. He was a client of NSA during his playing days.

Among the agency’s current clients: Cincinnati Bengals star defensive end Trey Hendrickson, who is involved in a contract holdout.

Addison, a former U.S. Air Force JAG and founder of ASE Representation, joins NSA after negotiating 17 NFL contracts and brokering some of the most innovative NIL and marketing deals in sports—including the first leaguewide trading card agreement for professional lacrosse and a pioneering NIL model for international athletes. He’s respected across the industry for his relentless work ethic and personal investment in every client.

Brynildson, a highly decorated Air Force litigator with over 30 jury trials to his name, brings a sharp legal mind and a bold, principled negotiation style. His reputation as a tenacious advocate and steady educator makes him a major asset for NSA’s draft prep and contract strategy teams.

Powell, a former Division I football player, will lead NSA’s growing NIL division. After launching his career at ASE Representation, he quickly earned recognition for landing top-tier NIL deals and treating every athlete like family—a mindset he now brings to NSA’s national platform.

“These are high-character, high-impact professionals who represent exactly what we stand for at NSA,” said Lewis, president of NSA. “Bart, Christian, Aaron, Carson, Jack and Sophia are strengthening our foundation across every pillar—football operations, NIL strategy, athlete support, and marketing. This is a major moment for our agency and, more importantly, for every athlete we represent.”
