HOUSTON – Highly regarded Connecticut offensive tackle Chase Lundt visited the Texans, according to a league source.

Lundt (6-7 1/2, 300 pounds) also has a visit with the Seattle Seahawks and invited to New England Patriots and Dallas Cowboys’ local prospect days.

Lundt is a four-year starter at right tackle for the Huskies who played 3,000 career snaps. He has displayed a nasty streak, an ability to finish and a skill at reaching the second level to block downfield.

The Arlington native has bench pressed 225 pounds 20 times.

He had an 86.7 Pro Football Focus blocking grade last season in 894 snaps at right tackle.

He was invited to the prestigious Senior Bowl all-star game.

Lundt gets high grades for his mobility, blocking technique and flexibility.
