HOUSTON – Sam Houston State wide receiver Ife Adeyi is scheduled to participate in the Texans’ annual local prospect day, per a league source.
Adeyi ran the 40-yard dash in an official 4.35 seconds at his campus Pro Day workout attended by the Texans. He had an unofficial time of 4.28 seconds.

Adeyi caught the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds of the 2020 Football Championship Subdivision national championship game.
The 5-foot-8, 181 pound deep threat bench pressed 225 pounds 18 times and had a 40 1/2 inch vertical leap and an 11-1 broad jump with a 4.14 short shuttle and a 6.74 three-cone drill.
The Mansfield native and Legacy High School graduate caught 30 passes for 271 yards and one touchdown last season. he has 164 career receptions for 2,312 yards and 19 touchdowns, including a career-high 54 catches for 742 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2021.
He scored 23 touchdowns overall, including four rushing scores.
