HOUSTON – USC linebacker Easton Mascarenas-Arnold, a speedy Oregon State transfer, has a NFL draft visit with the Texans, per a league source.
The All-Pac-12 selection is projected as a Day 3 draft target.

Mascarenas-Arnold (5-foot-11, 227 pounds) ran the 40-yard dash in 4.54 and 4.56 seconds at the Trojans’ campus Pro Day with all 32 NFL teams in attendance on a rainy, windy day in Los Angeles.
Mascarenas-Arnold, who has run 4.4 in training, was heavily recruited out of high school and is regarded as an ultra-competitive three-down linebacker prospect.
He had a 32-inch vertical leap, a 4.28 short shuttle, 7.40 three-cone drill, a 9-1 broad jump and bench pressed 225 pounds 25 times.
Mascarenas-Arnold, a Mission Viejo, Calif, native, played three seasons at Oregon State where he recorded 159 tackles, 13 for losses, four sacks and three interceptions in 37 games and a dozen starts.
For the Trojans last season, Mascarenas-Arnold had 95 tackles, including 52 solos, five for losses, three sacks, two interceptions, and one fumble recovery.
As a junior at Oregon State, he finished with 107 tackles, 6 1/2 for losses and two sacks with two interceptions.
Mascarenas-Arnold was a four-star recruit ranked 35th nationally and 25th overall in California. A league and team Most Valuable Player, he was also an all-league selection in the 100 meters and shot put.
