Texans sign Arlington Hambright to practice squad, release Cole Fotheringham

HOUSTON – The Texans signed offensive guard Arlington Hambright to their practice squad following a successful workout, per a league source.
The Texans released tight end Cole Fotheringham from the practice squad.

Hambright played collegiately at Colorado after transferring from Oklahoma State.
Hambright (6-foot-4, 307 pounds) is a former Chicago Bears seventh-round draft pick who has also played for the New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts.
He was with their practice squad last season and signed to a reserve-future deal.
He was waived on Aug. 27.
