SUGAR LAND – Astros starting pitcher Lance McCullers, Jr. threw 4 innings, giving up 1 run in the first inning before retiring the final 10 batters he faced.
McCullers’ final line looked like this: 4 Innings Pitched | 2 Hits | 1 Run | 1 Earned Run | 0 Walks | 4 Strikeouts
Throwing 64 pitches against the Round Rock Express, McCullers says he’ll be ready for next start in a Houston Astros uniform, presumably Tuesday to keep McCullers on regular rest.
