What's new for Dynamo fans at BBVA Compass Stadium?

HOUSTON – The Houston Dynamo take to the pitch Saturday for the new season, and there are lots of new things fans can expect when they pack BBVA Compass Stadium for the match against Atlanta United.

First, there’s new graffiti by local artist Gonzo 247 that will help fans find what they’re looking for.

There are also nearly a dozen new food stands that feature all different types of cuisine – tortas, hotdogs, double cheeseburgers and tacos, to name a few. There is a new bar area, as well.

A new concourse and improved lighting will help fans enjoy everything the stadium has to offer.

“The biggest thing for us is the fan experience,” said Juan Rodriguez, a spokesman for the stadium. “We have many facilities and many teams in our area. We are a blessed city, but we have to differentiate ourselves from what we are, and a true example of what we are is we hear our fans and we want to provide them with what they want.”

Tickets for the 2:30 p.m. game are still available.
