15 modern-era finalists revealed Tuesday night

The 15 finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Class of 2018 includes four players in their first year of eligibility.

Linebacker Ray Lewis, guard Steve Hutchinson, wide receiver Randy Moss and linebacker Brian Urlacher are among the modern-era finalists revealed Tuesday night.

The rest of the finalists include tackle Tony Boselli, wide receiver Isaac Bruce, safety Brian Dawkins, guard Alan Faneca, tackle Joe Jacoby, running back Edgerrin James, cornerback Ty Law, safety John Lynch, center Kevin Mawae, wide receiver Terrell Owens and cornerback Everson Walls.

The Hall of Fame's 2018 inductees will be chosen by the Board of Selectors at a Feb. 3 meeting in Minneapolis, which is the day before Super Bowl LII.

The list of 15 modern-era finalists will first be narrowed down to 10 and then five before a final yes-or-no vote is held. Those finalists who receive 80 percent of the vote in the final round will be inducted next August in Canton, Ohio.
