How good was Jose Altuve's 3-HR ALDS Game 1?
No description foundHOUSTON – Jose Altuve's offense in Game 1 of the American League Division Series was historic.
Just how good was it? We take a look at how it stacks up below:
Altuve hit three home runs in the game, all solo homers. He homered in the first, fifth and seventh innings.
He’s only the ninth player to accomplish the 3-HR feat in the postseason.
Altuve joins Babe Ruth (twice), Reggie Jackson, George Brett and Albert Pujols, among others, to do it.
Of the previous nine times a player hit three HRs in a postseason game, six of the teams went on to win the World Series.
Altuve is among the favorites to win the AL MVP this season.
