Texas is out

For long suffering Texans fans there is one consolation. O.K. Make that two.

One, the Texans played 2 playoff games, the Cowboys just one. TWO. The Texans and Houston won't be hosting Dallas for the Super Thing.

At the big house in Arlington the game we all wanted to be "A GOOD ONE" turned out to be a classic one.

Can we imagine just for a few seconds what the TEXANS might be able to do if Aaron Rodgers was their quarterback?  Heck, I would settle for Dak. In fact, let's go for TONY ROMO in the off season. Brock can be the richest flop since Tony Boselli. At least Brock has played, Tony never did. One thing we know for sure. It hurts more in Dallas than it does here. Houstonians like that.

It wasn't that Dallas stunk up their own house. They had it rolling but just got down early and coming back from 18 down might have drained the effort. It drained thousands in our city sporting Cowboy gear. I HAVE NEVER been a Cowboy hater but reality told me I was at the last Super Bowl the Pokes played in. Los Angeles was the place and the other guys were the Bills. The year was 1993. The press day was at Dodger Stadium because the Rose Bowl field was too wet to let reporters wander around. I met Bills Quarterback Jim Kelly and Houstonian Thurman Thomas at their hotel for interviews. O.J.Simpson was there too. That won't happen again.

The Cowboys won that game 30-13 and they were on a roll. However, since then they have just been rolling over. Most Houston fans are fine with that.
