Daily Craig: We are mediocre

HOUSTON – I am writing and speaking under a certain amount of duress. I had eye surgery Friday and in order not to scare my grandkids I was going to wear my shades, but thought the kids could take it.

I did not want to break my consecutive streak of 'DAILY CRAIG'S" which is currently something over 200. No holidays for this cowboy.

However, I DID ENJOY the snow of Green Bay yesterday. It looked Christmas-like. Both teams exchanged gifts. The Pack gave Houston a fumble by Aaron early and then the TEXANS returned the favor by having a DB fall down in coverage to give Jordy his 2nd Touch of the game...and thus the game.

However, you get the impression the Packers were the better of the 6-6 records at games end. Both teams are in shaky divisions with a Lions team barely ahead of one and the TEXANS on the verge of a three way tie if the Colts win tonight. Brock got off the hate list briefly by throwing for 2 and not getting picked off. He even rushed pretty well. I used the word rushed because stumbled seemed rude.I admired the many TEXANS fans who saved money and got to see the bright lights of Appleton before making their way to the BAY. i ALSO admired they dressed in Texans gear instead of laying low like the TEXANS OFFENSE.

Now the boys get ready for their 4th straight loss. It will be in Indy next Sunday. I am not being negative or maybe I can only see a win if my one good eye can see something positive.
