Daily Craig: OK, now it's over

HOUSTON – At the end of October I mentioned hurricane season had ended and hoped we didn't see any post-hurricane season storms. For some reason I forgot hurricane season ends today. I guess the exciting Texans season had me confused. Sort of like listening to the boys talk to the media.

Brock said he thought the current two-game losing streak sets the team up for an exciting finish. Sorry, but I must have missed something again. A three or four game losing streak must mean the team would really be cranked. Brock also said he had a good day in the film room and on the practice field. Oh boy. Now we are getting somewhere. Sorry, I want to see tape of him doing something really good in a game. He even looks shaky in the grocery store commercials.

Mike McCarthy is the Green Bay Packers head coach and his group is coming off a win in Philly and now they see Osweiler. Christmas time in the north. Mike did say the coach things that one might expect.

"I see a young QB who can make all the throws, very athletic, etc," Aaron Rodgers told the media by phone. He wasn't all that hot as a first year starter so he understands Brock's situation. At no time did McCarthy or Rodgers try to muffle laughter.

Brock also mentioned he really wasn't sure what to expect when he first came to Houston. He was pretty good in the film room and had some really good practices. Gee, I was shocked when all that went out the window in five lousy losses with number six a distinct possibility. But maybe he's getting better on the TV spots.
