Daily Craig: I missed a holiday

HOUSTON – While watching various NF-HELL training camp stories and staying up late to watch the Astros finally beat the INVADERS FROM THE NORTH,  I realized I MISSED a holiday.  Monday , August the oneth, is AIR FORCE DAY. For those scoring at home and we hope you are, you have another big day TOMORROW.  Thursday is Coast Guard Day. You can celebrate by not turning your fishing boat over in the Gulf. As for the Air Force, I always liked the following. A poison snake was seen curled up in a tent overseas. How would the military react? The Marine grabbed it and strangled it before damage could be done. The Army SGT. grabbed it and threw it about 100 yards into the desert. The Sailor carved it up and served it with his daily RUM RATION.  The Air Force officer called THE FRONT DESK  to complain about a tent in his room.

But seriously, tomorrow is Coast Guard Day so hug someone who has seen the bright lights of Cape May, New Jersey. I HAVE TO say I am up to speed on the TEXANS CAMP as all the pieces are there and seeing a prediction from NF-HELL NETWORK made me even more positive. The 2 former players on some show they have predicted the team to go 10-6.  An improvement of 1 lousy game?  Yep, that's what they said. However, like most experts, they are usually at least 2 games off in each direction.

How can you go wrong with a team that just re-upped it's G.M.?  I KNOW YOUR ANSWER. It's easy.
