Dad ditches kid in wagon to go after baseball at spring training game

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. – A father at a spring training baseball game in Florida got a little caught up in the action.

As a Mets player's ground-rule double leaves the field against the Miami Marlins, a fan can be seen letting go of a wagon, with a boy riding in it, to get to the ball.

Unfortunately for the dad, the wagon was on a slope and starts rolling down the short hill.

The father then realizes the runaway wagon and grabs it just as it hits the back of the outfield fence.
