And here's the new one.

HOUSTON – University of Houston men's and women's cross country head coach Ryan Turner resigned Monday, Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics Mack Rhoades announced.

"We thank Ryan for all his contributions to our Men's and Women's Cross Country programs and wish him nothing but the best in the future," Rhoades said.

In 2011, Turner helped guide the men's cross country team to a third-place finish at the Conference USA Cross Country Championships with a pair of top-10 finishers in Wesley Ruttoh and Yonas Tesfai. In 2008, his women's squad placed fifth in the C-USA Cross Country Championships, their first top-five finish since 2002.

A national search for a replacement will begin immediately.
