Rice Owls beat New Mexico State

HOUSTON – Senior Michael fude went a career best 4 for 5 with an RBI to lead the Owls to a season high 14-hit attack as the #4 ranked Rice Baseball team beat New Mexico State 7-5 at Reckling Park Tuesday night.

The Owls stayed unbeaten at 4-0 as they wrap up the series Wednesday afternoon.

Fude and the Rice offense was in high-gear Tuesday scoring two runs in each of the first three innings and added one more in the fourth for 7 early runs on the scoreboard.
