3 things to know about upcoming Junior League Holiday Market

Can we officially say the holidays are here? Have you considered the things you’ll need to stock up on before Christmas? If so, you’ve certainly already thought about hitting up the Junior League Holiday Market.

If not, you’ll want to. Here are three things to know about the popular event.

1. There’s a preview party.

Not only will guests get to preview and purchase market items, but there will be so much more than that. There will be a live band, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.

2. Santa will be there (and available to anyone).

A general admission ticket isn’t required, so come by and get your photo taken.

3. A one-of-a-kind ornament marks the occasion.

This is somewhat of a tradition, and it’s not too late to get in on this one. Each year for Holiday Market, a unique Christopher Radko ornament is built to fit the theme. The extensive and detailed process ends with each ornament hand painted.

Of course, then there is the actual event, which is a shopper’s dream. It will feature a variety of items, including personalized gifts, flower arrangements and holiday ornaments. Don’t forget to treat yourself, too.

You can do so on Nov. 22 and 23 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Nov. 24 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Photos with Santa will take place on Nov. 23 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the preview party is tentatively scheduled for Nov. 21 from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
