No Hurricane thank goodness but a gorgeous sunset!
Kind of cloudy today but the sun popped out just at the right time - 93% totality
Not a sunset, but with the right camera settings, the Milky Way looks glorious in Brazoria County. It was taken last night, July 18, at around 11:30 PM. Look to the South and up. Tonight should be a good night to see it as well.
A lot of folks have shot lovely images of the eclipse. This one is a little different, taken just North of Angleton with a wide angle lens at wide open aperture and a 4 second exposure. Notice the stars! You can't see them with the naked eye but using the right camera exposure, you can see so many the stars above us you did not know that were there. Enjoy.
