HOUSTON - Reliant Stadium officials installed removable artificial turf that will be used for non-NFL games.
Officials announced Monday that they hope to bring the Texas state high school football championships and other events back to Houston without sacrificing the natural grass field.
Playing too many high school games would damage the real grass that the Texans use, officials said.
