HOUSTON – HISD has announced a new policy for free and reduced-price meals for students during the 2012-13 school year.
The meals are served under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program.

Under the program, breakfast is free at HISD schools.
Lunch costs $2.25 at all elementary and secondary schools.
The reduced price is 40¢ for lunch at all schools.
