Parents alerted to stranger at bus stop

HOUSTON - Some northwest Houston parents were warned about a possible stranger danger at a bus stop.

Klein Independent School District officials sent a letter home with students at Blackshear Elementary School about a stranger who approached a woman and asked her if she wanted to flirt near a bus stop on Memorial Falls near Memorial Pass Thursday morning.

The woman said after she told the man no, the man drove up to the bus stop and lingered there longer than necessary.

Police were sent to the area, but did not find anyone suspicious.

The stranger was only described as an African American male with a dark complexion around 40 years old. He was driving a white, paneled van without windows on the sides, which was in fairly good condition.
