DALLAS – The Amber Alert for a Dallas toddler was discontinued Thursday.
What we know
Dallas police said they found remains that they believe are those of 18-month-old Cedrick Jackson. A photo of Cedrick is below.
The remains, which have not been positively identified, were found in a landfill in Rowlett.
Sedrick Johnson, 27, is charged with injury to a child and serious bodily injury in connection with the boy's disappearance.
Who is Johnson?
Police said Johnson is the boyfriend of the child's aunt.
The boy was living with his aunt, along with several other children, police said.

Police said Johnson admitted to dumping Cedrick's body in a dumpster.
